Job Summary
The Event Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of event operations for facility cleaning at large-scale events. This role includes managing scheduling, account management, and client relations to ensure seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a passion for maintaining facility cleanliness at events of all scales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling and Staffing
Develop and manage staff schedules using scheduling software to ensure adequate coverage for all events.
Coordinate with team leads to adjust schedules as needed for last-minute changes.
Monitor and approve timesheets to ensure accurate payroll processing.
2. Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
Monitor and ensure compliance with contract agreements, including staffing levels, quality standards, and client expectations.
Prepare and present operational reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
3. Sales and Business Development
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and acquire new clients.
Develop proposals and pricing structures tailored to client needs.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to meet revenue goals.
4. Client Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings.
Address and resolve any client concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
Provide on-site client support during key events.
5. Operational Leadership
Ensure all events adhere to facility cleaning protocols, policies, and procedures.
Recruit, train, and evaluate team members to uphold performance standards.
Coordinate with event organizers, venue management, and external vendors for seamless operations.
Qualifications
Required:
Bilingual (English/Spanish): Ability to communicate effectively in both languages, written and spoken
2–3 years of experience in management or operations, preferably in event-related roles.
Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
