Job Summary:
The Event Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing security personnel, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and performers, and maintaining order at events. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate event security staff, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to security protocols.
- Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate assignments, expectations, and emergency procedures.
- Monitor security operations, including access control, crowd management, and incident response.
- Act as the primary point of contact for security-related concerns during events.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure employees are adhering to company policies and clock in/out procedures
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security activities.
- Provide guidance and training to security personnel as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in event security, law enforcement, or crowd management.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, access control, and emergency response.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and respond to incidents as required.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Work is primarily conducted in event venues, stadiums, convention centers, and other large-scale event locations.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
- May involve exposure to loud noise, large crowds, and dynamic environments.
